Purple Inspired Bridal Shower

This purple inspired bridal shower from The Bridal Bar Blog was so extravagant and fun, I could not resist sharing it, even though my favorite color is PINK.

One of the best showers I've seen so far, this shower was trimmed out in purple, everything this shower offered was decor in purple.

Purple food to include purple cauliflower soup, sweet and sour purple cabbage salad,purple sorbet, and salmon with purple mashed potatoes and even purple bread rolls.

The party also included purple cotton candy, cocktails and lavender ice cream.

Halloween is around the corner, and I can't wait! Well I'm just excited for my kids, the dress up, the candy, the trick or treating. I wish I had an adult party to go too, would make it so much fun, I never been to a Halloween party before but when I saw this Halloween party inspiration for a girls night out, I was thinking of having my own Halloween party.

This party is perfect for just women celebrating a fun and scary night. This party included my favorite colors pink and black with Halloween accents.

The table had a black table cloth with a runner down the middle, choose pink or patterns if you like. Large pink skull for the centerpiece, decorative Halloween candles, place setting that included 2 plates, napkin ring embellishment and cocktail wine glasses with drink charms.

Also lavish your party with pink feather boas, costume make-up and decorate with Halloween decor painted in pink and black.

Check out these cute homemade buckets that can be use for gifts or favors. Scary mommy handmade these buckets for her recent parties and I must say I love it. I also made homemade buckets for Christmas for my co- workers and they were a hit. I brought Christmas pails from the dollar store, stuff with tissue paper, candy

canes, Christmas lottery tickets, bath and body works lotion and I wrapped in cellophane Christmas paper tied real pretty with ribbon, oh I wish I still had the pics to show.

I recently went to the Atlanta's AmericasMart for the International Gift and Home Furnishing Market, and I was just blown away with all the new vendors and products that's going to be coming out. By far this was the best gift show ever attended, and I can't wait to start buying these incredible new products to share. I saw lots of ideas, trends, invitations, stationary, favors, gifts and the list goes on. This was a great start for me, because I'm trying to open my own favor, wedding and gift retail store. I'm a sucker for centerpieces with a cool design, so when I saw this I just could not resist. This would look so fabulous at a wedding, a bridal shower or even your house. This is a modern day floral , via Lotushaus that's so different and unique. You can re-create this if you have two large vases different in size and/or height, different types of silk flowers or even fresh flowers . And possibly add some decor or trinket to it .

Oh my gosh, can I say amazing. As you may know I love things all PINK and PRETTY, especially PINK, I live for everything PINK! While scouting for new creative ideas I ran across fabulous event design and planning group Admardecor' Event Design, and there stands this beautiful table top, that is all PINK and eye dropping! This table top was created for a table top design contest,that was called “Candy Jardin” which means, Candy Garden in English. The theme created was inspired by their version of a table top candy bar.

In this setting there is lots of Glass,Pink,Candy and Flowers embellishments.
I'm just speechless!!

"Tiny" Two Party

I found this adorable and cute party themed Tiny Two Party.

This party is perfect for a 2 year old or baby shower. The party was focused on everything being truly tiny.

The party decor included: Chinese lanterns w/fishing wire above the dessert area, that were pink, teal and white. Which the teal colored lantern was originally white and then painted with food coloring used from the cupcake frosting. Also she printed out several sheets of patterned paper design for the invitation envelopes both in teal and pink, use on variety of the party decor including place cards, wrapped presents, wrapping around the mini water bottles and condiment bottles.

Now I need a Wedding Dress that intensifies my Glamorous image.

The Dress: I'm looking for the dress that complements my personality, very high fashion that is off-the shoulder and/or strapless, asymmetric in details with dropped waist extravagant silhouettes that accentuate every curve. And it would not hurt if it had Swarovski Crystals on it!

As the bride, everyone’s attention will be on you, so I want my guests to notice every single detail. So the dress has to stand out!

What kind of Bride Am I ?

First and foremost I was trying to see what kind of Style I wanted to design my wedding after. So I took a quiz thanks to Brides.com, I discovered that I'm a Glamorous Bride.

Choosing a Color Palette:

Your wedding colors will set the tone for your event, So its important to choose a color scheme that reflects who you are and one you can have the most fun with, through out the entire months of planning and through out your actual event.

So I chose various whites, a touch of green with cream and silver accents.
This wedding will be all about Glamorous, Bling, and Extravagant decor. I want to have detailed elements to include; clear glass, water, flowers and extreme lighting.

I also wanted the look of pure, chic with a bit of over the top elements, to send my guest home with such amazement.

Wedding Inspirations Week

Spring is here and Summer is near! What better time of the year to have a fabulous Wedding that is decked out in Style. So I totally devoted this entire week to Weddings.

Well to be honest, this is what "My Wedding" would be like, if I was getting married this season. So I guess you would call this post, "My Wedding Inspirations Week! Well I must say I had fun planning it!

Modern Co- Ed Baby Shower

I absolutely adore this Modern Co-ed Baby Shower
designed and created by Lotus Haus.

It was a baby girl shower with a very modern theme. She designed & created the shower invitations, party favors, floral arrangements and party decor. Wow what a hostess!

The colors were chocolate, raspberry and lime green with touches of silver.

The table arrangements featured curled up wire, floating flowers, orchids and wire wrapped grasses. She also used spotlights to add shots of pink color to the dark corners.

Here in her living room, the two chairs for the guest of honor, were decorated with tulle. The white paper lanterns are from Shoji Decor and are dressed up with pink tassels from Jo-Ann fabrics. And chocolate colored slip covers for the couch from Bed Bath and Beyond with pick and green pillows to top it off.

Don't you love the decor and details put in for this shower. She made a simple shower look Great! Thanks for the Inspirations.

Liberty and Equality

What You Need

- 1/2 oz. pomegranate liqueur
- 1 oz. light rum
- 1/4 oz. Blue Curacao
- 1 tsp. agave nectar
- Maraschino cherry, for garnish

How to Make It

- Pour pomegranate liqueur into a martini glass.
- In a cocktail shaker, add other ingredients except cherry and shake well.
- Slowly strain over pomegranate liqueur into martini glass.
- Garnish with maraschino cherry.

Caribbean Breeze

What You Need

- 1 oz. Caribbean rum
- 1 oz. homemade grenadine*
- 1/2 oz. Grand Marnier
- 1/2 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
- Jamaican ginger beer
- Thinly sliced lemon wheel, for garnish

How to Make It

- Add first 4 ingredients to a tall glass and stir briefly.
- Top with ginger beer.
- Garnish with lemon wheel.
- Dissolve 1 cup sugar in 1 cup pomegranate juice. Superfine sugar dissolves instantly. Refrigerate any leftovers.

Champagne Apricato

- 1 oz. Tanqueray Gin
- 1 oz. Marie Brizard Apry (apricot liqueur)
- ¾ oz. fresh lemon juice
- ¾ oz. simple syrup
- 2 oz. premium champagne
- Apricot slice
- Edible flower (for garnish)

To make simple syrup, bring 2 cups of sugar and 1 cup of water to a boil. Once the sugar has dissolved, remove from heat. Let cool to room temperature. Combine gin, liqueur, lemon juice and simple syrup with ice in a cocktail shaker, and shake well. Strain into a flared glass; top off with champagne. Add apricot, and garnish.

Fire & Ice Martini

What You Need

- 2 oz. ginger and jalapeno-infused vodka
- 2 oz. grapefruit syrup
- 1 oz. fresh-squeezed white grapefruit juice

How to Make It

- Shake all ingredients with ice in a martini shaker, strain, and serve in a gold sugar-rimmed martini glass.

Key Lime Pie

What You Need

* Lime juice
* Crumbled graham crackers for rim
* 1 1/2 oz. KeKe Beach Key lime cream liqueur
* 1 1/2 oz. vanilla vodka
* Squeeze of fresh lime
* 1 1/2 oz. half-and-half

How to Make It

* Saturate rim of a martini glass with lime juice.
* Dip upside down into graham cracker crumbs.
* Pour liqueur, vodka, and squeeze of lime into a shaker.
* Shake and strain into a martini glass.
* Add half-and-half.

What You Need

- 1 oz. tangerine schnapps
- 1 oz. vodka
- Tangerine juice
- Orange/tangerine peel, for garnish

How to Make It

- Shake and strain first 3 ingredients into a martini glass.

Barbie's 50th Birthday Inspiration

What better way to get inspired, then by viewing this absolutely fabulous event thrown in honor of Barbie's 50Th Birthday Anniversary by Mattel. Thanks to Hostess with the Mostess for this incredible inspiration, this party was fully decked out in decor, designed by event planner Colin Cowie. The party included a real life Barbie Dream house which was decorated by Johnathan Adler, which included a wall-mounted mirror made out of 65 black and white bathing-suit-clad Barbie® dolls; Lucite tables filled with over 1,800 pairs of Barbie sunglasses, 3,500 tiny shoes, and 3,500 doll sized handbags; as well as a chandelier for the sitting room, fashioned out of over 30 blonde wigs.

As for the party, the interior house was transformed into a Barbie themed decor with a pink color palette, Pink roses for the centerpieces, signature pink drinks, a dessert table to die for with all the fixings including candy, marshmallows, chocolates and cookies. Also Barbie's closest celebrity and designer friends got a chance to strut down the pink carpet to sign a larger than life Barbie birthday card. What a truly inspired event.
